Profile Page Transparency

  • Welcome back
I believe a simple addition of transparency to the CSS used on the profile page elements is needed. Profile backgrounds are essentially made worthless on any screen that isn't within 16:9 and beyond, at that point, why bother with them at all considering the sizable amount of active phoneposters? It's a small change but I believe it'll go a long way. Looking beyond the visual standpoint, it'll entice new users to customize their profiles beyond basic profile pictures and banners, a feature that in of itself attracts pooners like a moth to a light. Having a fine-tuned profile of your own may also aid in user retention so there's that.

fucking everyting is transparent i can see through my fucking bcc

i can see through the epsteins files' censorship
That's because I did it in a lazy way
CSS:
.block:has(.memberHeader), .block:has(.message--simple){
    opacity:0.95;
}
i'll fix it soon
Make it an optional thing it looks shit in most profiles
it's a profile option now and can be from 0.5-1

Also couldn't colors be translucent? It's better than completely making everything translucent and just the background of messages so the background is visible

I changed the transparency thing so it doesn't make images and pfps transparent but some themes don't use the xenforo css variables for some reason and I don't care enough to fix it now
I think it's because -xf-contentBg--a is defined in variations.less so it only works if the theme you're using has a dark/light variant

It could get redefined in other templates and have themes use that instead of directly using the hsla value but I don't know how work that is to set it up. Xenforonoobs...
